With my trip “Be a guest in my village” you will discover authentic Sicily up close and personally. For six days, you will be a guest in the charming village of Linguaglossa at the foot of Mount Etna.
 
I will meet you at Catania airport, share my insider tips, and show you my favorite places on the east coast of Sicily. Feel welcome as if you were visiting a friend.

Look forward to walks through beautiful cities such as Catania and Taormina, an excursion to the magnificent landscapes around Mount Etna, colorful markets, and breakfast in the warm morning sun. Our days are varied, but always flexible, because your wishes are what matter.

Your BnB

You will stay in a lovingly renovated BnB in the heart of Linguaglossa. The apartment is bright, centrally located and very quiet.

Of course, it is possible to stay in a hotel instead of a BnB. Depending on the season, this may incur additional costs.

01.

Arriving in Sicily

 

I will meet you at the airport in Catania. Drive to Linguaglossa and check into the B&B. Stroll through the small town and have dinner afterwards.

02.

Fabulous volcanic landscape

 

Drive up Mount Etna and walk through the  various landscapes: forest, crater, and lava.
A sunset tour of the volcano up to an altitude of 2,900 m can be booked on request.

03.

Elegant Taormina and Castelmola

 

We visit Taormina and Castelmola, two of Italy's most beautiful villages, and enjoy the magnificent panoramic sea views and many highlights of both places.

04.

A day in lively Catania

 

The day begins with breakfast at Catania's colorful weekly market. On our tour, we let ourselves be inspired by the morbid beauty of Catania and immerse ourselves in Sicily's second-largest city.

05.

The choice is yours ...

 

Hiking in the Alcantara Valley, a day in Syracuse or Messina, swimming in the sea, horseback riding through picturesque landscapes, Saracen bridges, or castle ruins...
We decide on the day's program based on our mood.

06.

Aci Castello and Farewell

 

Depending on your departure time, we will fill this day with a small program. One last aperitivo, and then it's time to say goodbye to each other and to Sicily.
