Whether in elegant Capri, on the colorful island of Procida or in vibrant Naples: the pastel-colored sunrises and sunsets in the Gulf of Naples are legendary and set the stage for your photo journey to Naples, Capri and Procida.
One trip, three destinations – Naples, Capri & Procida
Our 6-day journey takes you to these special places around Mount Vesuvius. You’ll discover the many facets of the region: the lively city life of Naples, the sophisticated elegance of Capri and the authentic island charm of Procida. On the crossings you can enjoy the fresh sea breeze, while the lovable chaos of Naples, the stunning views over the gulf and the sight of the legendary volcano keep inspiring you again and again.
Photo tour between island dreams and city hustle
We find our photo subjects in the charming chaos of the city center: among other places, we visit the famous nativity scene street San Gregorio Armeno, the Santa Chiara monastery, the colorful Pignasecca market, the Spanish Quarters and the Santa Lucia harbor. We stroll across elegant Capri and let ourselves be captivated by the magnificent panoramic view from Monte Solaro over the city of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. A picturesque fishing village welcomes us on Procida and makes it impossible to put the camera down.
Dolce vita and culinary moments
This trip also has plenty to offer in terms of food: we enjoy fresh, regional cuisine, taste typical specialties and, of course, the world‑famous Pizza Napoletana, whose traditional preparation was added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2017. This way, your photo journey to Naples, Capri and Procida becomes a trip for all the senses – with a joyful Neapolitan atmosphere that will stay with you for a long time.

Sunset over Naples
Start at 5 p.m. We go up to Castel Sant'Elmo. We enjoy the sunset with a view over the city and Vesuvius.

Multifaceted City Center
Exploring Naples' city center: art metro stations, the Spanish Quarter, hip Chiaia, Lungomare and the much-celebrated Santa Lucia harbor, the magnificent Plebiscito square and the Umberto I Gallery.

Capri Feeling
We take the speedboat to Capri. We visit the towns of Capri and Anacapri and take the cable car up to Monte Solaro, the highest point on the island.

Sanità - The Forgotten Quarter
We start with a tour through the less touristy district of Sanità. During a guided tour through the San Gaudioso catacombs we learn interesting things about the history and people of the city.

Colorful Procida
On the deck of the "slow" ferry to Procida we let the sea breeze blow around our noses. Once there, we are amazed by the many colors and impressions of this island.

Sunrise on the Lungomare
We photograph the sunrise on the Lungomare. Afterwards we drink coffee in the legendary Gran Caffè Gambrinus. After the "second" breakfast in our BnB, it's time to say goodbye to Naples.

Unfortunately, I cannot give you a positive feedback for your trip. I'm not stupid and tell people how incredibly beautiful the days with you and the group were. The warm welcome alone, the quick check-in (…) in the charming palazzo put me in a relaxed mood. (…)
No, I can't tell your readers how well organized everything, really everything, was by you. I didn't have to worry about anything and could completely immerse myself in the atmosphere of Naples.
No, I won't make the mistake again when I once recommended my favorite restaurant and have barely been able to get a seat since then. No no. Then you'll just get expensive, the trips will be fully booked in no time and I'll be left behind. (…) As if by magic, you always had the right tickets at hand, whether for the metro, cable car, ferry or train. And no matter where you took us to eat, it was a treat that I didn't expect. My palate is very spoiled, but the selection of restaurants (…) simply rounded off every day as a special day. (…) If I were to tell you now how much passion you put in sharing your knowledge of the country and its people with us, in your warm manner the history - or rather stories - of the city and the islands of Capri and my future adopted home Ischia (yes, I mean Procida, but nobody needs to know how much I fell in love with this colorful fishing island) to us, then everyone would know how the days couldn't have been more beautiful. I simply don't want to and can't reveal that. I will never forget these days with you, you and every single participant in this group were simply wonderful. I will always look back on this time with happy eyes and look forward to seeing you again soon. But I won't say where, otherwise everyone will go to Sicily or Palermo.
Conclusion: Recommendation? No, not at all, never, never, no, no, niente. Guys, go to the Baltic Sea and leave me the insider tip.
