Two experts, one shared passion: Ingrid from Umbria-mia and I have joined forces to take the experience of an exclusive classic car tour through Sicily to a whole new level. Our “liaison” began at the start of the year with a few emails and phone calls, and now we are taking you on a unique tour of Sicily that perfectly combines enjoyment, culture, and driving pleasure.
Ingrid is an “old hand” in the gourmet travel business. With her exclusive classic car and convertible tours, she delights car enthusiasts year after year with tours in Germany, Austria, and Italy. Our shared travel philosophy was the spark that ignited a new adventure, which will start in June 2026: a 12-day classic car tour through fascinating Sicily.
The starting signal is given in the Etna region. We drive through the bizarre volcanic landscapes, which are particularly impressive at this time of year with their intense colors. We continue on the legendary roads of the Targa Florio to the north coast, where nostalgia comes alive in the vintage car museum in Collesano. Picturesque coastal roads and a detour to charming, breezy Cefalù frame this stage.
Fantastic mountain landscapes as well as art and culture await us in quiet, little-known places on the next section of the route. We cross the Valley of the Temples, trace Sicily's 2,500-year history, and let ourselves be enchanted by the magnificent cities of Noto, Syracuse, and Scicli in Val di Noto, the center of Sicilian Baroque. Stone walls, olive groves, and the azure blue sea accompany us on this last stage.
Warm Sicilian hospitality awaits us everywhere: picnics with panoramic views of the island, visits to vineyards and wine tastings under centuries-old olive trees, meetings with Sicilian classic car enthusiasts, and visits to classic car exhibitions.
