With “Room with a Sea View,” you will immerse yourself in a Sicily full of contrasts and beauty: from vibrant Palermo and its colorful markets to the gentle sound of the waves on the white chalk cliffs near Agrigento, you will experience the island with all your senses.
We start in Palermo, soaking up the lively city atmosphere and Mediterranean hustle and bustle. After visiting the market, we head south along the coast through fascinating landscapes to a unique work of landscape art, a magical place in the midst of quiet expanses.
In Agrigento, you will not only find a room with a sea view, but also the famous Scala dei Turchi (the Turkish Steps), the gleaming white chalk cliffs, and the Valley of the Temples with Doric columns from a bygone era. We enjoy lunch on the beach, stroll through an enchanted garden with thousands of stone heads, picnic on wild and romantic coasts, and end the day in the warm light and light sea breeze.
Before returning to Palermo, we stop at an artists' village that inspires with its imaginative Gaudí-style architecture and creative energy. We spend our last evening in Palermo, exploring more highlights and my favorite places in the city.

Our Hotels
In Catania we stay at the 4-star boutique hotel 20Miglia. In Realmonte (near Agrigento) we stay at the 4-Star-hotel Villa Romana.
The cities of Sicily are lively. It is possible that it is not always completely quiet at night. As a precaution, I recommend bringing hearing protection.

Arriving in Catania
Start your day at 5pm with a stroll through Catania in the evening. Aperitivo with panoramic view of the volcano and dinner afterwards

Lava Landscape and Sea
At an altitude of around 1650 m we hike through the diverse lava landscapes of the volcano. Lunch in the mountain village and then continue to Agrigento on the south coast of Sicily.

White Rock and Doric Temples
After breakfast, walk along the beach to the "Turkish Stairs", an impressive rock made of white marl.
In the afternoon we visit the Valley of the Temples with Greek buildings from the 4th century BC.

Relax and Sunset by the Sea
Leisure or culture? We'll decide together how to spend the morning. In the afternoon, we'll head to Punta Bianca, which offers a breathtaking photo opportunity, especially in the evening light.

Agrigento and the Favara Art Project
We explore the historic center of Agrigento. In the afternoon we visit the cultural park in Favara, an extraordinary and photogenic art project.
Return trip to Catania.
28.
City Stroll in Catania and Farewell
After breakfast, we stroll through the city, across markets and past beautiful baroque buildings. After lunch, it's time to say goodbye.
