ROOM WITH SEA VIEW
FROM PALERMO TO AGRIGENTO - TEMPLES, ARTS & BLUE SEA
from 13 to 18 April 2027
Sea-view room – between Palermo, white cliffs, and the sea
A sea-view room – Sicily full of contrasts
With “Sea-View Room” you immerse yourself in a Sicily full of contrasts and beauty: from vibrant Palermo with its colorful markets to the gentle sound of the waves along the white chalk cliffs near Agrigento. You experience urban energy and tranquil coastal landscapes in one journey that blends city life, sea views, and land art.
Starting in Palermo – markets, city life, and Mediterranean light
We begin in Palermo, soaking up the lively city atmosphere and Mediterranean buzz, and dive into the colors and scents of the markets. After our market visit, we set off towards the south coast, driving through fascinating landscapes until we reach a unique land art site – a magical place in the middle of quiet, open countryside.
Agrigento, sea views, and the Scala dei Turchi
In Agrigento, you are welcomed not only by a room with a sea view, but also by the famous Scala dei Turchi – the dazzling white chalk cliff right by the sea – as well as the Valley of the Temples with its Doric columns from a long‑gone era. We enjoy lunch on the beach, wander through an enchanted sculpture garden, photograph wild and romantic coastlines, and let the day fade out in warm light and a gentle sea breeze.
Artists’ village and final evening in Palermo
Before we return to Palermo, we stop in an artists’ village that captivates with imaginative architecture in the spirit of Gaudí and a vibrant creative energy. We spend our final evening back in Palermo, discovering more highlights and a few of my favorite places in the city.

ACCOMODATION
In Palermo, we stay in a family‑run, modern BnB. In Realmonte (near Agrigento), we stay at the 4‑star hotel Riviera Palace.
Sicilian cities are lively places, and it is possible that nights are not always completely quiet. As a precaution, I recommend bringing earplugs.
