WINTER SUN IN SICILY
A PHOTOGRAPHIC DISCOVERY TOUR IN SOUTH SICILY
from 23 to 28 February 2025
The average temperature in February in Sicily is 16-18 degrees. The sun shines brighter in winter and the sky is bluer, the streets are emptier and the queues in front of the sights have disappeared. There are hardly any tourists in the markets and the island is "Sicilian" quiet and manageable. If you want to escape the northern European winter and experience Sicily authentically, winter is an excellent time of year for a trip around the island.
During these days you will gain an insight into the beauty and magic of Sicily. We explore lively Catania with its colorful, lively markets, experience the bizarre volcanic landscape in the Etna National Park and visit the area around Agrigento. The white rocky beaches, the Favara Cultural Park and the Valley of the Temples are the destinations of our trip. We will pamper ourselves with Mediterranean, Sicilian cuisine and good regional wines and enjoy the wintery flair of the island.
