The average temperature in February in Sicily is 16-18 degrees. The sun shines brighter in winter and the sky is bluer, the streets are emptier and the queues in front of the sights have disappeared. There are hardly any tourists in the markets and the island is quite and authentic. If you want to escape the northern winter and experience Sicily, Februray is an excellent time for a trip to the island.
These days will give you an insight into the beauty and magic of Sicily. We explore lively Catania with its colorful, vibrant markets, experience the bizarre volcanic landscape in the Etna National Park and visit the baroque cities of Syracuse and Noto. We indulge ourselves with Mediterranean Sicilian cuisine and good local wines and enjoy the flair of the island in winter.
