The average temperature in January and February in Palermo is 15 degrees. The sun shines brighter in winter and the sky is bluer, the streets are emptier and the queues in front of the sights are gone. There are hardly any tourists on the markets and the city is quiet and manageable.
For those who want to escape the northern European winter and experience Palermo authentically, winter is an excellent season for a city break in Sicily's capital. During these days we explore well-known and unknown sights and immerse ourselves in a vibrant city with an almost unique history.
We'll visit Palermo's colorful markets, stroll along the azure sea, see impressive palaces and churches, climb breathtaking viewpoints and enjoy the tasty cuisine in the city's select restaurants.
We capture all these beautiful impressions in our photo shoots. We take photos without constraint and without haste and inspire each other: smartphone, compact or SLR camera play no role. We enjoy the moment, the food and the city in a cheerful round of like-minded photography lovers.
